Fitler Square
Fitler Square is a small park located in the Fitler Square section of Philadelphia. Fitler Square is bounded by Fitler Street to the north, 26th Street to the south, Markets Street to the east, and Schuylkill River to the west. Fitler Square is home to a number of shops and restaurants, as well as a playground and a dog park. Fitler Square is also adjacent to the Schuylkill River Trail, making it a popular spot for joggers and cyclists. In addition, Fitler Square hosts a number of events throughout the year, including a farmers’ market and an antique fair. As a result, Fitler Square is a popular destination for both residents and visitors alike. The neighborhood is quiet and prestigious similar to how Rittenhouse Square and a desirable area to live in especially for families. The Fitler Square section of Philadelphia is located in close proximity to the Schuylkill River and the Wissahickon Valley Park. Fitler Square is served by SEPTA bus routes 2, 32, and 38. Fitler Square is also within walking distance of Rittenhouse Square and the University of Pennsylvania.
