“Fall” In Love With Philly – Part 2

We are half way through fall in Philadelphia, and we are taking full advantage of it!

New Hope

One of the best fall activities to do around Philly is to visit Peddlers Village. Peddlers Village is in the cutest town of New Hope, PA. If you haven’t been to New Hope, you need to go. It is a charming town in PA with amazing restaurants and it makes for the perfect day trip or weekend getaway. This weekend they are hosting their OctoberFeast which features lots of food options. They will have food tents, food trucks, and even bacon on a stick? Whatever that is, it sounds good! They will of course have plenty to drink in their wine, beer, and spirits garden and live entertainment all weekend long. They also have some really fun activities like axe throwing, a petting zoo, and moon bounces!

Peddlers Village is also known for their life-sized scarecrow display and this year they are celebrating the 43rd Annual Scarecrows in the Village! There are a hundred scarecrows that line the brick roads of the village, all created by Philly-area residents and organizations. Some are scary, some are funny, and some are inspired by famous characters, but they are definitely fun to look at! They are up until October 31st, so if you are in Peddlers Village, grab a drink and take a stroll around the auburn village admiring all the scarecrow creations.

Make sure you check out their website for all their fall activities!
